Customers Affected By GM Recalls Eligible For Employee Pricing

Posted:
Lynchburg, VA - GM recalls continue, now totaling 54 recalled models so far this year.

The latest recall involves the ignition switch on six different models built over an eight year period.  The recall includes 26 million cars nationwide.

If your car is one involved in the recalls, GM will mail you a notification.  Following that, you're encouraged to drop your car off at your nearest dealership for service.  You'll get a rental car while you wait, and when you go to buy your next car. "GM has specials out, depending on the recall, that will give you employee pricing on any car out here. That's really neat because on average stuff that gets it $1-2-3,000 below dealer cost and you still get all of the incentives” said Robbie Caldwell, Pinkerton Chevrolet’s General Sales Manager.

Customers who own these cars with the ignition switch recall are eligible for GM employee pricing:

2005-2010 Chevy Cobalt

2007-2010 Pontiac G5

2003-2007 Saturn Ion

2006-2011 Chevy HHR

2006-2010 Pontiac Solstice

2007-2010 Saturn Sky
