PERDIX, Pa. (WHTM) -

After a body was discovered in the woods of Perdix, Perry County on Wednesday night, abc27 reached out to Erica Klinger's family. On Thursday, her father confirmed that the body belongs to his daughter.

The Perry County coroner said he will not confirm the identity until after the autopsy.

Klinger was last seen at her job at the Kwik Fill on the Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg on June 8; police later recovered Klinger's car in Harrisburg in mid-June.

On Wednesday night, police recovered a body in the woods 25 yards from Route 11/15 in Perdix, Perry County.

Authorities said the body had been there for weeks.

Again, abc27 reached out to the Perry County Coroner's Office; officials there said they would not confirm the identity of the body until after Friday's autopsy was completed.
