SELINSGROVE, Pa. (WHTM) -
State police in Snyder County say a 56-year-old man shot a rifle at a woman and threatened to kill her.
According to officials, Stephen Wayne Gundrum told 59-year-old Frances Ilene Gundrum to remove the attic window at his home on Schrey Hollow Road in Union Township.
Police said he made this demand as he thought police were coming to his home, and he wanted "a clear shot" to shoot at officers as they came up the driveway.
When Frances refused, Stephen Gundrum reportedly pointed a rifle at her and then fired a shot away from her. He also threatened to kill her and told her not to get off the couch or call anyone on the phone.
Stephen Gundrum is charged with terroristic threats, discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, unlawful restraint, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and harassment.
He was arraigned and placed in Snyder County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
