Crews battle 2-alarm fire in Franklin County

GREENE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) -

Crews from a dozen fire companies battled a 2-alarm barn fire Saturday morning in Franklin County. 

According to authorities, flames sparked at around 11 a.m. on the 39-hundred block of Funk Road in Greene Township. 

Livestock were reportedly killed in the fire. A firefighter was injured on the scene and transported to the hospital for treatment. 

The cause of the fire is unclear. The barn is expected to be a total loss.
