A Lancaster teenager was arrested after police say he fired several gunshots in the 800 block of Union Street Sunday morning.
The unidentified teen was committed to the youth intervention center on charges of carrying a firearm without a license, possession of a firearm by a minor and reckless endangerment, city police said in a news release.
Responding officers were told the teen fled into a home in the 300 block of Fairview Avenue. The house was surrounded and everyone inside was ordered out.
The 17-year-old and two 9mm handguns were found in the attic, police said.
Six 9mm casings were found where the shots were fired.
