A Lebanon man who was treated at a hospital for stab wounds to his back Sunday told police he was attacked and robbed at a party.
The 28-year-old man told officers he got into a fight with several other males who took his sneakers and a gold chain, city police said in a news release.
His injuries were not life threatening, police said.
Officers found the unidentified man when they were dispatched to the 900 block of Locust Street for an assault victim around 5:45 a.m.
Police said he could not accurately report the location of the assault or what time it actually occurred.
His relatives told officers he left a family picnic earlier and he did not indicate he was going to another party, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
