LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Lancaster County man faces numerous charges after police say he busted up a restaurant and tried to start fights with employees and customers.

East Lampeter Township police said 25-year-old Andrew Mall used a metal sewer cap to smash a glass door in the take-out section of the Your Place restaurant in the 2100 block of Lincoln Highway around 12:20. a.m. Friday.

When employees told Mall to leave, he threw the metal cap through a window and tried to fight the workers. He then went into the dining area, tried to start fights with customers, and attempted to gouge the eyes of one patron, police said in a news release.

Customers pushed Mall outside and held him down until officers arrived, and police said they soon learned his trouble-making started at a Wawa store across the street.

He allegedly stole four cartons of cigarettes and four energy drinks, about $248 in total merchandise, police said.

Mall, of Manheim Township, was charged with retail theft, criminal mischief, false ID to law enforcement, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
