Severe storms have wrapped up here in Central PA. There have been some reports of trees and branches knocked down along with very heavy rainfall but nothing as widespread as last week. Expect the storms to die down as we move into the overnight hours with some patchy fog likely. The late rain coupled with muggy conditions will make it feel incredibly uncomfortable outside through the overnight.
Any sunshine that we get Monday morning will give way to another round of thunderstorms Monday afternoon and evening. That same threat will pop up again Tuesday before a shot of cool air for the middle and latter part of the week. There is the potential for some of these storms to be slow moving and put down some torrential downpours. It has been rather dry recently so the rain is welcome, but flooding is possible in localized areas that see numerous thunderstorms.
Expect more quiet weather to arrive with the cool-down. Highs will be around 80, with lots of sun Wednesday through Friday.
