SCRANTON, Pa. (WHTM) - One of two suspects charged in connection to the murder of a college student from Harrisburg has pleaded guilty.

Rashan Crowder, a former Central Dauphin East and Bishop McDevitt football player, was shot to death outside a Lackawanna College dorm in May of 2013.

Police said 19-year-old Ryan Harding pulled the trigger.  They said Marlon Clotter gave Harding the gun and urged him to shoot.

According to WNEP-TV, Clotter pleaded guilty Friday to conspiracy to commit aggravated assault. He faces up to 20 years in prison.

Harding is being held in the Lackawanna County Prison without bail. He is currently awaiting trial and could face a life sentence if convicted.
