CAMPBELLTOWN, Pa. (WHTM) - Monday marks the 10 year anniversary since a tornado ripped through Campbelltown, Lebanon County, injuring dozens of people and destroying homes.

The National Weather Service said the F-3 tornado was about a half-mile wide.  It packed winds up to 200 miles per hour.

In all, 24 people were hurt. Some were critically injured.  About 37 homes were destroyed and 100 more were damaged.

The NWS said the tornado was on the ground for 10 minutes, which is the reason the damage was widespread.
