    A 21 year old man apparently didn't see another car backing out of parking space as he backed out of his space. He also didn't see a Tuscaloosa police office who happened to see the accident. 21 year old Jarran Kentrel Reed collided with the other car but then drove off towards the exit of the parking lot. TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- Two Tuscaloosa teenagers have been charged in connection with a robbery at a Moe's Southwestern Grill on Monday night, police said.

Brandon Santoris Martin, 19, and Charles DeAndre Newton, 18, are each charged with two counts of first-degree robbery. According to Tuscaloosa police, the suspects, armed with handguns, entered the restaurant located in the 2300 block of East McFarland Boulevard shortly after 10 p.m. and held an employee at gunpoint before stealing cash from the registers and a cellphone.

After the robbery, the duo fled the scene, hopping into a Honda Civic, which was spotted by officers a short time later in the 2800 block of 22nd Street. Police made contact with the suspects and detained them while they investigated further. After officers found the stolen phone and money in their possession, the teens were taken to the police station for questioning.

Investigators later found probable cause to charge both suspects. They were booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail, where they each are being held on $120,000 bonds.

There were no reports of injuries.
