BRIGHTON, Mich., July 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Todd M. Carroll has been named director of finance and information technology at FORTECH Products.
Prior to joining FORTECH, Carroll had served as a plant controller and senior operations accounting analyst at Amcor Rigid Plastics, a supplier of plastic containers and preforms located in Manchester, Michigan.
Based in Brighton, FORTECH is a major provider of corrosion-resistant coatings, metal-forming lubricants and contract packaging services for the auto industry.
"Todd is a welcome addition to FORTECH's management team," said Creighton Forester, FORTECH's president and CEO. "In addition to his finance and IT responsibilities, he also will play an important role in expanding our operations in Mexico."
Carroll also has held senior management positions at Farmer and Underwood in Belleville, Michigan, and Industrial Services of Michigan in Livonia.
A graduate of Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti with a bachelor's degree in business administration and accounting, he currently lives in Saline, Michigan.
Founded in 1994, FORTECH develops and manufactures corrosion resistant water-based paints and coatings for the automotive, recreational vehicle and allied industries. The company also works with a variety of customers to formulate and package aftermarket lubricants and additives.
