Newberry Township police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Saturday morning.
It happened at around 11:30 at Santander Bank on Robinhood Drive in Etters.
According to police, a man walked in and presented a note to the teller demanding cash. The teller gave the suspect an undetermined amount of cash from the drawer, and he fled to a nearby business where witnesses told police he got into a gold SUV, possibly a Dodge Durango. That vehicle had a second male inside, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Newberry Township police 717-938-2608 or York County 911 Center at 717-854-5571.
