2nd motorcyclist dies after Sunday crash on Route 30

COLUMBIA, Pa. (WHTM) -

A second motorcyclist has died as the result of a crash early Sunday on Route 30 in Lancaster County.

Jarod D. Counts, 26, of Seven Valleys, died Tuesday at Lancaster General Hospital, according to a hospital spokeswoman,

Counts and a Thomasville man, 29-year-old Stephen M. Elicker, were struck by a vehicle in the westbound lanes near Malleable Road in West Hempfield Township shortly after 2 a.m., according to police.

Elicker died at the scene.

Details of the crash are still being investigated.
