YORK, Pa. (WHTM) -

The U.S. Marshal's Service said it has arrested a York man wanted for homicide and related offenses and his former girlfriend has been found unharmed.

Jeffrey Reid, 27, is charged in the fatal shooting of Dashaun Davis.

Deputy U.S. marshals arrested him without incident Monday in Richmond, Virginia.

York police were looking for Reid when they were contacted by the parents of his ex-girlfriend, 23-year-old Karina DeJesus, who reported they had not seen their daughter since the middle of last week.

A spokesman for the Marshal's Service said DeJesus was found with Reid. He said DeJesus was not harmed and she is not facing any type of criminal charges.

Davis was fatally shot July 19 while sitting in his car in the 200 block of Union Street.

Reid is also suspected of two other incidents on the night of the homicide; an attempted home invasion robbery in the 400 block of East Market Street and a home invasion where several several gunshots were fired in the 600 block of West Philadelphia Street.

According to the York Dispatch, Reid is also suspected of arson in a row-home fire that displaced 13 people on July 21. DeJesus' family says she and Reid used to share one of the homes that was destroyed, and that many of her belongings were still inside.
