UPDATE:

A missing hiker has been found alive.

Madii Quinn was last heard from on Sunday night when she texted her husband to call police, prompting a search of the Weiser State Forest.

It's unclear where she was found or if she was injured.


PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:

State police are searching for a missing hiker in the Weiser State Forest in upper Dauphin County.

Friends say Madii Quinn was last heard from around 8 p.m. Sunday when she texted her husband and told him to call police.

Since then there's been no sign of Madii or her dog, Sarge, friends said.

Friends said police located her car at Luke's Trail near Lykens. A search party is set to venture into the woods soon.
