Bridge repair work will affect traffic on the connection between the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Interstate 283 this weekend.
The work is scheduled to begin Sunday at around 6 a.m. and is expected to take a few hours to complete, according to a PennDOT news release.
The repairs to the Route 283 bridge over the connection could continue into early Sunday afternoon.
Most of the work will affect drivers with a lane closure and shifting traffic patterns from the Turnpike to northbound I-283 and from the ramp from eastbound Route 283 to northbound I-283.
Southbound traffic on I-283 headed to the Turnpike toll plaza may also be affected by lane restrictions.
