Latest Update: 7/23/14 11:30AM

THIS AFTERNOON: Hazy Sun, Scattered T-Storms Developing. Hi 90.

TONIGHT: Eve. Showers/T-Storms, Then Mostly Cloudy & Muggy. Lo 71.

THURSDAY: AM Clouds, PM Sun -- Slow To Clear. Hi 82.

The heat and humidity ramp up and peak today ahead of a cold front that will move through later this evening. After some hazy sunshine, atmospheric conditions will be primed for a round of scattered thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening. Highs will climb into the lower 90s this afternoon with high humidity.

Clouds will be slow to clear tomorrow morning, but the humidity will drop quickly throughout the day, leading to a pleasant and sunny late afternoon and evening. Highs tomorrow will be in the low 80s after starting the day in the 70s. Humidity remains low on Friday with temperatures slightly cooler than average and a lot of sunshine.

The weekend brings more heat and humidity with chances for more thunderstorms by late Sunday. A look ahead to the last week of July shows another round of seasonably cool and dry air heading toward Central PA!
