Andrew joined ABC 27 in July of 2015 and says it’s a dream come true. Born and raised in Jonestown, Lebanon County, he can remember watching ABC 27 when he was growing up. While studying at Temple University, ABC 27 is where Andrew got his first internship.
Andrew got his professional start working behind the scenes for another Harrisburg station. After that, it was on to Bridgeport, West Virginia. That’s where he got his first reporting job. He’s also been a reporter in northeastern Pennsylvania, where his parents were raised. Now, Andrew is back home covering stories in the Midstate.
Through his career, Andrew has covered several stories of national significance, including the Skylar Neese murder, the shooting of two Pennsylvania State Police troopers, and the extensive manhunt for Eric Frein.
Andrew has always loved hockey and when he’s not reporting you can find him near or on the ice. Did you know he played goalie since the age of 6? He loves cheering on the Hershey Bears during the winter (and hopefully into the summer), and the Philadelphia Phillies in the summer (and hopefully into the fall).
Andrew lives in Lancaster County with his wife, Rachel, and their English springer spaniel Cookie, who is a rescue.
If you see him out don’t be afraid to say hi. He also welcomes any suggestions for food on the grill.
