Hannah Brandt joined the Washington D.C. Bureau in January of 2022. Since then she’s been doing stories that break down what’s going on in the nation’s capital and why it matters for you.
Originally from Southern California, Hannah is a proud U.C. Berkeley graduate (Go Bears!). Her reporting has taken her across the country. She spent two years in Topeka, Kansas covering stories ranging from a tiger attack at the local zoo to a contentious gubernatorial race. Then she worked in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania bringing viewers the latest updates on topics like the coronavirus pandemic, local elections, and racial justice movements.
Now she’s thrilled to be working in Washington D.C. and getting the inside scoop on all of the latest political happenings.
Hannah loves listening to podcasts, exploring new travel destinations, and reading mystery novels. She’s always in search of a good story and a great taco!
