Irelend Viscount joined the abc27 News team in July of 2023 and is thrilled to be back in the Midstate where she grew up.
Irelend was born and raised in York County, graduating from Dallastown Area High School. After High School, Irelend studied broadcast journalism and minored in marketing at West Virginia University.
After college, Irelend was a bureau reporter in Northern Michigan for 2 years where she covered many stories including a tornado, the Michigan State University school shooting, and a plane crash on Beaver Island.
Irelend is excited to tell stories in the communities she grew up in and looks forward to meeting new people. When not reporting you can find Irelend spending time with her 2 golden retrievers, Tito and Archie.
