Jared joins abc27’s digital team after he spent two years as a Digital Media Content Producer for Nexstar’s WTAJ at their State College bureau before coming back to report news in his hometown area.
Originally from New Oxford in Adams County, Jared graduated from Shippensburg in 2021 with a degree in Communications/Journalism and a minor in Philosophy. Before attending Shippensburg, he went to Harrisburg Area Community College’s Gettysburg branch for two years.
Jared enjoys playing video games and watching movies. He is a sports fan with his favorite pro teams being the New York Jets for football, the Cleveland Cavaliers for Basketball and the Baltimore Orioles for baseball.
