Lara Bonatesta is a Digital Content Producer at abc27 and a recent graduate of West Virginia University where she studied journalism and multidisciplinary studies.
Before coming to abc27, Lara was the culture editor at the Daily Athenaeum, WVU’s independent student newspaper and an intern at the Charleston Gazette-Mail. In college Lara was also a reporter for two student-produced newscasts West Virginia Today and WVU News, and a four-year member of the Pride of West Virginia marching band.
She is originally from Central New Jersey and in her free time, she enjoys going to coffee shops, hiking, and playing the trumpet.
