Sarah Willson joined the abc27 News team in September 2022.
Born in Colchester, Connecticut, Sarah graduated Magna Cum Laude from Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and a minor in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies. At Central Connecticut State University, Sarah was an active participant in CCSU TV and the student-run newspaper, The Recorder, where she was Editor-in-Chief.
She previously worked at WETM in Elmria, New York as a multimedia journalist, 18 News Political Reporter and weekend evening anchor.
Sarah also worked as an Associate Producer for NBC Connecticut and interned at Al Arabiya in Washington, D.C. where she attended White House and State Department press briefings.
