West Virginia University has suspended 29 members of a fraternity for not following coronavirus health and safety orders.

A Theta Chi member tested positive for COVID-19 and was ordered into isolation but attended a party at the fraternity house on Friday.

Everyone who lives there was notified by the university to isolate or quarantine but did not do so.

The university says the 29 students have been banned from campus and cannot take classes including those offered online.
