Harrisburg unveils new charging stations for electric cars


HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Electric car owners have a new place to charge up their vehicles in the Capitol. City and state leaders held a ribbon-cutting at a line of new charging stations in front of the state museum that’s on Third Street.

Eight cars can be charged at the four stations which were funded by a $40,000 grant from the state Department of Environmental Protection.

It’s part of other renovations on Third Street.
