Hometown heroes are helping kids ride to surgery in style.
Members of the York County Corvette Club donated two battery operated mini-cars for the pediatric wing, including a pink racer. They’ll take kids to their scheduled surgeries – instead of a stretcher – to help calm the nerves of the young patients.
The hospital has been using mini-cars since last year.
The Corvette club made the donation after seeing two cars the hospital recently purchased.
