Hometown Hero: Lancaster Stone Independent Students

Hometown Hero

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) — Thursday’s hometown heroes are focused on the environment and entertainment.

Students from the Stone Independent School in Lancaster will plant 5,000 trees, with some being planted in Peach Bottom next month.

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation is providing the trees and the students will be rewarded with a live concert featuring six bands at Penn Cinema Lititz.

The Stone Independent School will hold a similar tree planting in East York.
