YORK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) — Monday’s hometown heroes are helping the environment, one tree at a time.

A group of Pennsylvania American Water Company employees helped plant 300 native trees and shrubs on a farm in York Township.

This is part of a long-term plan from the Chesapeake Bay Foundation to plant 10 million trees in Pennsylvania by 2025.
