(WHTM) — On Monday, abc27 salutes Donald J. Chiavetta.
Chiavetta served in Army Signal Corps and jumped into Normandy with the 82nd Airborne on D-Day.
Today would have been his 100th birthday. He passed away in May 2005.
We remember him, we salute him and we thank him for his service.
