(WHTM) — On Friday, abc27 salutes George D. Martino.
Martino was drafted into the U.S. Army in February 1941 and was honorably discharged from the Carlisle Barracks in October 1945 as a sergeant.
He passed away in 1987 at the age of 72.
We remember him, we salute him, and we thank him for his service.
