(WHTM) — On Monday abc27 salutes John W. McCalister.
McCalister served with the United States Army from 1943 to 1946. He was Cannoneer during World War II in the Philippines in the Northern Solomon Islands and Luzon.
He passed away in 1999 at 75 years old.
We remember him, we salute him and we thank him for his service.
