(WHTM) — On Monday, abc27 salutes Kurvin L. Hess, Jr.
Hess served in the U.S. Navy during World War II aboard the USS Hyde. He was awarded the Pacific Theater Ribbon, the American Theater Ribbon and a victory medal.
He passed away in January 1970.
We honor him, we salute him and we thank him for his service.
