PENNSYLVANIA (WHTM) — For those who want to vote in Pennsylvania’s May primary, the deadline to register has arrived.

New registrations are due by May 2, and applications for mail-in and absentee ballots must be submitted to one’s county election board by May 10.

In the race for Gov. Tom Wolf’s seat, there are nine total candidates in the Republican primary field. Pennsylvania’s Attorney General Josh Shapiro is running unopposed for the Democratic party. For the state’s open United State Senate seat, there are seven GOP candidates who will appear on the ballot on May 17 and four Democratic candidates.
