Brethren Housing Association is located in South Allision Hill in Harrisburg and provides housing and supportive services to families experiencing homelessness.
Since 1989 they have been a beacon of hope in the community, helping families have a safe place to call home and providing resources and support to help them change their lives.
There are many ways that you can get involved and touch the lives of a family in need. You can make a contribution to bridge the gap from homelessness to hope for a family in need. You can volunteer to adopt an apartment. Every time a family completed the program and moves into their new home, the apartment need to be cleaned and finished for the next family. This is a great opportunity for a small group, civic club or a family to do and help a family feel cared for when they move in. You can also donate hygiene items and cleaning products for the families.
We’re chatting with Executive Director Crystal Brown about their upcoming 15th annual golf tournament on May 11th at Parline golf course. It is a great way to support a good cause and have a good time with your friends!
