Army Heritage Days runs on May 16 and 17 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily at the U. S. Army Heritage and Education Center in Carlisle.

Army Heritage Days is the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center’s timeline living history program that honors the service of our Army Veterans in conjunction with Armed Forces Day. The programs primary purpose is to give the visitor “hands-on” experience in understand the history of the U.S. Army and the service to our country of our U.S. Army Soldiers.

There will be all types of equipment and soldier displays from all Army time periods. Visitors can can meet soldiers in the WWI trench and learn how it would have been built.  Listen to the West Point Alumni Glee Club perform or see a Civil War Cavalry Demonstration. In addition, there will be the opening of the new exhibit “Treasures of the USAHEC” which highlights some more rare and unique collections.
