 Michael Farbaniec, MD Cardiologist, Chief Cardiovascular Fellow, Penn State Heart and Vascular Institute Dr. Farbaniec received his bachelor of science, with honors at Bucknell University, and then attended Penn State College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and went on to become the chief medical resident there.Continuing his work at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, he joined the cardiovascular disease fellowship and currently is the chief cardiovascular fellow. His primary area of research is improving the quality of medical care as well as decreasing hospitalizations.He plans to continue his career in cardiovascular disease by joining the Penn State Heart and Vascular Institute faculty.
