HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Harrisburg Police are investigating a deadly stabbing that happened on the night of November 5 as a homicide.

Police say they responded to the 1800 block of Paxton Street at about 9 p.m. for a report that a man had been fatally stabbed. Once officers were on scene they located a man suffering from apparent stab wounds.

The man, who police say was in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A homicide investigation is ongoing. Police say they have identified and interviewed one person of interest, however, charges have not been filed at this time.

Police have not yet released any names or ages pertaining to the investigation.
