To help with the opening of the community pool, the School District of Lancaster County Day, The Red Cross, and the YMCA all contributed to allowing the pool to open for the weekend. To be open according to state law, nine lifeguards have to be scheduled every day to comply.

At first, the pool only started out with six lifeguards. Now the pool has 21 more lifeguards.

“This lifeguard team is tremendous, they are hard workers. Two of our brand new lifeguards had saves today, and I’m so proud of how they handled themselves and how they jumped right in, literally and figuratively,” property manager Tammy Agesen said

There will be daily pool admission for anyone that is three years or older at $9 per day. Children under the age of two are free. The pool hopes to be open full-time starting on July 11.
