The owner of the new restauarant Market, which is formerly Sophia’s on Market, is preparing to open next week. 

Megan Seferth used to be the pastry chef at Sophia’s on Market, which closed in December. 

She says she didn’t want to make too many changes, but did renovate the cafe, which is in Hampden Township. 

Market will be selling soups, salads and sandwiches, and there are plans to add a Saturday brunch. 

“We still will be creating different pastries and will be staying with different muffins and scones. And offering cakes and different treats and grab and go items,” said Seiferth. 

Exact details on the opening are still being determined, but they will be posted on the restaurant’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
