(WHTM) – Students at Thomas W. Holtzman Jr. Elementary School were briefly evacuated on Wednesday morning after a strange smell was noticed in the building.

The evacuation was reported after 10 a.m. and students were let back into the school less than an hour later.

A Susquehanna Township Police officer on scene originally abc27 the evacuation was a precaution for the gas odor investigation, however Susquehanna Township School District Superintendent Dr. Tamara Willis said the source was the smell of a new 3D printer.
