YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – The York County Sheriff’s Office has welcomed a new K9 to its ranks.
K9 Miki is a 2-year-old pure-blooded German Shepherd from Croatia.
The office says on Sept. 15 Cpl. Cole Zimmerman and K9 Miki completed a six week training academy and were successfully certified as the office’s newest K9 team.
The training included explosives detection, tracking, searches, and obedience.
