YORK, Pa. (WHTM) — One person is dead after a shooting in York on Saturday night. A release from the York County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 19-year-old York resident Jaidin Altland.
Police say at around 10:30 p.m., they were called to investigate a shooting that occurred in the 500 block of East Boundary Avenue in York.

Altland and another victim, a 15-year-old girl, were transported to WellSpan York Hospital by a privately owned vehicle. The girl was treated at the hospital and is expected to survive. However, Altland died due to his injuries.

Altland’s cause and manner of death will be released after his autopsy, which is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 6.
