Body found in Yellow Breeches Creek near Boiling Springs

BOILING SPRINGS, Pa. (WHTM) – Police say the body of an elderly man was found in the Yellow Breeches Creek near Boiling Springs.

Trooper Brent Miller, a state police spokesman said friends of the man found his body Monday afternoon in South Middleton Township, near the 100 block of Bucher Road. He said the friends had arranged to meet the man for fishing but found his body in the water.

Miller said the investigation revealed the man possibly had a medical emergency.

His name and age were not immediately released.

“I know a lot of senior citizens that come down here. I was worried it was one of them, and I’m still worried it may be one of them,” said Bill Durham, who is a regular visitor of Yellow Breeches Creek for more than 20 years.”Whoever it is, I hope he died happy.”
