Cedar Crest students are finalists in cyberbullying film contest

LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) – A local group of high school filmmakers are bringing national attention to the issues of cyberbullying.

Students at Cedar Crest High School traveled to New York last week to compete with young people all over the country in the first-ever Cyberbullying Film Invitational.

The AT&T sponsored film festival is also part of this year’s All-American High School Film Festival.

Of the nearly 30 schools that participated, Cedar Crest students are among the finalists and have each been awarded $1,000. Those Students are still competing to win an additional $5,000 as part of the Public Choice Award.
