IKEA has recalled thousands of ceiling lamps because the glass shade can detach and fall.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the company has received 19 reports of glass shades detaching and falling, resulting in three minor injuries including bumps and cuts.

The recall involves IKEA Calypso ceiling lamps with manufacturing date codes between 1625 and 1744. The date code is printed on a sticker on the light bulb socket base plate.

The lamps were sold from August 2016 to July 2018.

People should return the lamps to any IKEA store for a full refund or replacement.
