Denver man charged with assaulting girlfriend


DENVER, Pa. (WHTM) – Police have filed charges following a fight Tuesday night in Lancaster County.

Officers with the East Cocalico Township Police Department were called around 8:30 p.m. to the first block of South Fourth Street in Denver.

Neighbors stopped a fight at the home of 20-year-old Dakota Ambrose, police said.

Ambrose is accused of assaulting his girlfriend, causing injuries to her throat, arms and legs.

He was arrested and charged with simple assault and harassment.
