Fire damages popular Lancaster restaurant


LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – A state police fire marshal is looking into what caused a three-alarm fire Thursday morning at a popular Lancaster restaurant.

The fire at Lancaster Dispensing Company, at 35 North Market Street, was reported around 6 a.m.

Lancaster Fire Captain Todd Hutchinson said a passerby smelled smoke and looked in a window to see flames in a kitchen storage area.

The kitchen area was damaged by flames and the restaurant and bar have smoke damage.

No one was inside the building and no one was injured.
