HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – When Gregg Mace went to high school in Baltimore, everyone played lacrosse. It was the high school sport over football, over basketball, over soccer.
It’s taken a while for high school lacrosse to take hold in the Midstate, but now it’s become, in Gregg’s opinion, the fastest growing sport in the area.
A group of coaches now want to introduce lacrosse to even more kids.
Proper D Lacrosse is holding a two-day clinic at the Camp Curtin YMCA in Harrisburg to introducing the sport to youngsters, most of whom had never picked a lacrosse stick.
