HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — On Friday, Governor Tom Wolf discussed the commonwealth’s vaccination progress, vaccine hesitancy, and how to encourage citizens to receive the life-saving treatment.

As of Thursday, April 15, Pennsylvania has administered first doses of vaccine to 40.7% of its eligible population, and the state ranks 10th among all 50 states for first doses administered by percentage of population according to the CDC.

Despite the state’s vaccination progress, positive COVID-19 infections continue to rise to levels experienced in late January 2021.
